From 2010-2016, James Wignall (BA (Hons), MMus) was a songwriter, guitarist and vocalist in the band Cheatahs, signed to Wichita Recordings, during which time the group released two critically acclaimed albums and toured extensively throughout Europe and North America. After Cheatahs disbanded, James began to write and produce commercial and documentary music for a diverse array of clients.
As an artist, and as a member of the choral collective Musarc, James has performed at venues and events including The Barbican, Royal Festival Hall, and The London Contemporary Music Festival. In addition to his work as a composer, he is currently a Senior Lecturer at The British Institute of Modern Music.
